Dharwad Police Nab Six Highway Robbers

Dharwad: The Garag police have arrested six notorious robbers who targeted highway users and escaped with valuables. The gang committed a robbery on August 2 at around 8:30 PM near Green Dhaba in Hosa Tegur village on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway.

The police team solved the robbery case within 24 hours and arrested six individuals. However, one suspect managed to escape. The arrested individuals are Naveen Hunshyal (34) from Kittur town, Sagar Yallappa Gunji (20), Akshay Koli (19), Santosh Bidimath (25), Veerupaksha Emmi (21) from Mallapur, and Sagar Fakirappa Gunji (21).

The police have seized Rs 25,000 in cash that was looted and an Ertiga car used in the crime.
